Holiday

We are heading to BC tomorrow for a well deserved holiday, so I won't be posting in the next week or so.

But before I leave, I have some great news to share! Two of my layouts have been featured in My Mind's Eye blog and Aussie Scrap Source. Yay!

Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon!

Another Sunday Layout

I love Sundays. Lazy, rainy, summer Sundays are the best!

Today I used my new papers from My Mind's Eye. They're from the Colorful Christmas collection. That's right, Christmas papers for a Summer layout! Why not! lol

I had so much fun creating this page, especially those pictures that still make me giggle!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

100 posts!

100 posts already? Well how's about a LO to celebrate? I am totally obsessed with these Collage Press papers, Bazzill Dots are just incredibly cute, and my all time favourite photo of my Munchkin.

Have a wonderful Friday!

This and that

I've been embarrassingly lazy around the house...but very productive in the craft room. I don't feel guilty, we all need a break from time to time right?

I tend to be very critical with my pages, and if I don't receive feedback I immediately think that they suck *sigh* I have to stop caring so much about the comments and just enjoy what I'm doing...so priority #1 from now on: To have fun!

Have a beautiful evening!

Sunday night craftyness

Hello and happy Monday!

I made this page last night using the last of my Early Bird papers. Don't you just love them!

I used an old sketch by the lovely Valerie Salmon. She's one of the most talented ladies I met in the craft world! Though I always thought her style wouldn't suit mine but I was wrong. I totally love how it turned out!

Have a wonderful Monday!

In love

When I shop online for scrapbook supplies I tend to look only at my favourite manufacturer's releases...you know, stick to your comfort zone. Well, last night I came across this collection from Collage Press and immediately fell in love!

I was a complete impulse buy that I'm sure i won't regret!

And as you know, I have a thing for everything vintage from the 20's and 30's. And what could be more suitable for this new uber project that I have in mind? Graphic 45!

This is one the few times I completely fell in love with everything that these guys make! I could buy their entire store! Well I didn't lol, just bought a few papers to get me started...*sigh*

Now to sit patiently and wait for my beloved mailman!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

One of my favourite photos

Don't you love Saturday afternoons? It's my favourite time of the week. I used to have this long naps...well naps are now shorter, and followed by some quality scrapping time. It's even better when it's rainy. For some reason my creative brain works better in humid weather! lol

I took this week's challenge at 52 Sketches. After a few days of really bad mojo I finally made a page I am completely happy with. Enjoy!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Today's Munchkin's birthday. He's 2!

I though about scrapping one of his first pictures when he was only a few hours old. I can't believe how tiny he was!

Have a beautiful day!

A quick page

I made this quick page last night...not really happy about the results though. I wanted to upload it before midnight for the July Sketch challenge at 2 Peas...well not only it looks "unfinished", I used the wrong sketch! That'll teach me! lol

Maybe I should just relax and enjoy scrapbooking for what it is as oppose of trying so hard to get some sort of recognition, a DT position, a praise...I wanted so bad to be good at this that I'm losing my perspective...does it make any sense?

Maybe the talent is just not here and I should just take it for what it really is...just a hobby :-)

Have a beautiful weekend.
